WIN RECOVERY PROGRAM
WIN Recovery program requires clients to attend Peer Facilitated Support Group. The peer facilitated support groups uses curriculum that’s been proven by evidence base research to be effective. The peer facilitated support groups offer our clients an opportunity to discover their self-worth, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
Healing From Trauma
Trauma-based curriculum consist of twelve-session support groups designed to help women recover from the effects of trauma in their lives. The integrated approach to women’s trauma is based on evidence base theory, research, and clinical experience.
Looking Toward the Future!
This curriculum focuses on At-Risk Women and provides women with alternatives to criminal activity by helping them identify and mobilize personal and community resources.
Program content is organized around four main themes:
Encouraging personal responsibility and enhancing motivation for change
Expanding connections and building healthy relationships
Skill enhancement, development, and maintenance
Relaxation and stress management skills
Codependency describes one person’s behaviors and attitudes rather than the relationship as a whole. Someone who is codependent often builds their identity around helping others. They may “depend” on others to validate their self-worth. A codependent person may deny their own desires or emotions to get this approval.

Make Over Mommy
Real Parenting Program provides practical guidance on issues and ways we can develop realistic action plans with our children. One of the biggest hurdles for those of us who are recovering from alcoholism or an addiction is restoring our relationship with our children. We must rebuild shattered trust, but even more basic, we may need to learn, or re-learn, how to treat our children with love and respect. There are 3 Focuses: Building Trust, Handling Anger, & Setting Rules and Limits.
Financial Management curriculum for persons working with limited-resource audience. The curriculum was designed for University of Illinois Extension to provide equal opportunities in programs and employment. The curriculum has won two awards National Outstanding Educational Program Award and Association for financial Counseling and planning Education. Personal Financial Group provides clients on how to establish a savings and/or checking accounts and how to manage and keep their account in good standing. The group offers our client direction on how to budget their income to ensure financial stability once our clients establish independence.
Women Rap is a check-in group that discusses any challenges that the clients are experiencing in the house and attempt to create unity amongst each other and the WIN House.
